When do you think tech convergence happened and how it has impacted healthcare delivery?

In my opinion, tech convergence happened when Electronic Medical Record begun in 1972 where the first EMR was developed by the Regenstreif Institute in the United States and was then welcomed as a major advancement in medical practice. Since then, EMR has impacted the healthcare system greatly. Not only it has improved patients care but it also improved diagnostics and patient outcomes. They not only make the lives of healthcare providers easier, yet they also contribute to improving safety and care for patients. EMRs provide practitioners with more relevant data and help in clinical information management. They also facilitate in the simplification of healthcare decision-making and time-consuming procedures. Furthermore, EMRs improve disease diagnosis and minimizing, if it's not completely removed, medication error, resulting in improved outcomes for patients. The healthcare team uses EMR to make a diagnosis patients' problems in a timely manner.
